Technical Project Managers & Senior Architects : Global Travel Exchange needs senior architects and hands-on project managers with expertise in all technical aspects of design, development and implementation of Internet based Java and XML applications. The candidates must have 10 + years of experience with web services development technologies such as java, XML, SOAP, XSL and web/application servers. Experience in using project management tools is essential. You will participate in evaluating the current architecture, establishing the future architecture and  system design. This is a senior position reporting to the VP(Technology)/CIO. Other expectations for the position are:

• Assignment of programming resources, project scheduling and managing your team
• Capture and analyze business requirements and present technical solutions
• Knowledge of prevailing technologies and tools for internet based application development
• Understanding of current and emerging XML standards
• Willing and able to travel to U.S. for meetings with clients, technology vendors and GTREX technology team in the U.S.
• Experience in Travel Industry technologies is a major advantage

Senior Developers and Software Engineers : Global Travel Exchange needs highly energetic and motivated senior programmers for its product development group with following qualifications:

• At least 6 years of strong programming experience in developing web based applications
• Strong skills in Java, XML, SOAP, XSL, DOM, XML Schema, creating XSL scripts, HTML, Javascript, DB2 or other SQL databases.
• Ability to independently code, test, debug, implement and support
• Knowledge & experience with test tools is an advantage
• Highly Desirable: Experience in travel/hospitality industry, travel agency GUI-based booking engines, travel accounting and commission payment procedures.

System Administrators : Global Travel Exchange needs System Administrators, with at least 5 years of experience in managing environments consisting of MS Windows, web/application servers, LAN and data center for small group of applications and users. The selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Manage Redhat and Windows Server 2003 environments, including software updates, security patches, user, group and resource management
• Administrative knowledge of any application/web servers such as Apache Tomcat and IIS
• Small data center operations and simple VPN/firewall administration
• Knowledge/experience of DB Administration is a major plus
• You will participate in establishing and maintaining backup operations, plan and implement software rollouts, system policies and email protection, take steps to avoid virus issues, improve and protect operations and infrastructure environment, develop disaster recovery planning using disk arrays, fault tolerance, backup servers and other contingency planning concepts for a 24x7 operations, manage and publish necessary changes in the corporate web site on management approval and coordinate product releases.
